Picture it: Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Just me and a few of my favorite influencers enjoying Epcot. See me? I’m right there. RIGHT THERE. Yes! On the left.
And oh, what a beautiful morning it was! First, we went Soarin’ as part of an exclusive attraction opportunity. Just us. Soarin’ like VIPs.
We soared all over the beautiful globe. I’ve only ever soared over California as part of Soarin’ Over California at Disney’s California Adventure park, so this was a brand new experience for me. Best of all, no passport was required.
After all that traveling, we were hungry for more and the sponsor breakfast and showcase did not disappoint.
After three servings of hakuna frittata (so punny!), we heard from Alamo Rent A Car (who, incidentally we used to travel to see my in-laws at the start of our Florida adventure) …
…and GoGo squeeZ. Hey, look! It’s Olympic gold medalist Dominique Dawes!
We then headed to the sponsor showcase to interact with amazing brands such as: Alamo, GoGo squeeZ, Neutrogena, Hanes, Joffrey’s Coffee, HSN, Twinings, and more.
The showcase also included costumes from Disney’s upcoming Beauty and the Beast, coming to theaters March 17th!
While I was swooning over all the sponsors, my family took to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to have way too much fun without me.
They became one with animals…
And rode Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.
Weeeee!
True explorers, these kids.
And remember the Tree of Life I mentioned on day one? Here it is in daylight looking as majestic as ever.
Soon, we met up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios because I don’t have to tell you movies are magic.
Look! A replica of TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly known as Grauman’s) in Hollywood!
Here’s a cute view of Mickey’s hiney once inside the park.
Selfie time!
Meh, let’s leave our family pictures to the Disney professionals.
Those are better. First stop: Toy Story Mania!
I was determined to beat this guy…
…and I did! OK, so my accuracy was nearly half of his, but who cares! My quick trigger finger won!
Moving on to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™, big thrills lurked on every floor.
After a quick social media break (#disneySMMC)…
…I let this kid lead the way.
We then found ourselves ready to rock at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (starring Aerosmith). I told you on Instagram this ride blew my bra off. I wasn’t kidding.
My kids thought it was the greatest, fastest, loudest ride ever!
Rocking out so hard called for a refreshment and reflection.
Next stop: photo opps with Star Wars speeder bikes!
By then it was time to get our Muppet on with Muppet Vision 3D. The show was beyond adorable.
In fact, the entire Muppet Courtyard is so adorable. I would know. I was suuuuuuper into The Muppets growing up, as in “Miss Piggy was my on birthday cake” into The Muppets, so you have to trust me; I’m kind of an expert.
As the sun set, we headed to a family pizza party sponsored by Alamo at PizzeRizzo. We ate…
…caught up with Kermit…
…took to social media…
…and even broke out drumsticks inspired by Aerosmith.
All rocked out, my youngest’s mood momentarily went south. So I did what I always do, I shot my husband a dagger. Of course he took a picture of it.
We then headed off to VIP viewing of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, and boy, was it ever spectacular! I only WISH I had video to share.
From there, we ended our night with a family galactic dessert party and nestled in for sweet dreams for the next day we were setting sail onboard the Disney Wonder!
