Are You a Momzilla? I was.

My name is Mommyfriend Lori and I am, or at least was a Momzilla – GASP!

Check out my latest article on Babble, Are You a Momzilla? and let me know.  Hey, it takes one to know one.

There’s even a handy-dandy Momzilla quiz just for fun…or just in case self-reflection isn’t on your agenda for today.

  1. I was a Momzilla in the beginning. I think it is really easy to become one. Your world is consumed by baby in the beginning.
Learning a healthy balance that does not run your friends off is the key. 🙂

  2. Great article. I do think some moms get overly obsessed about their child. Okay, it is fine to be obsessed, but just maybe the world doesn’t want to hear about every second of the day. I mean it is quite possible that the people momzilla is sharing with might think they have a pretty great kid too. Take some time to share the spotlight! That is all I am saying.

  3. Great article, Lori. I don’t think I’m a Momzilla. Heck, I rarely even upload my pictures to my computer. (good reminder that I need to do that to make room on my camera) I find that sometimes I do share a milestone via text or something but then I realize that I just really need someone to talk to. I love sharing my miracles with friends and family but sometimes I’d be nice if someone asked…”How are you doing? Anything new with you?”

  4. So love it Lori! Whew…I took the quiz and I am not a Momzilla. (Only because my kids are not babys anymore!)

  5. I am a chronic over-sharer, which is why I blog. I don’t want to inundate people’s facebook newsfeeds with the status of my child’s snotty nose. I strive for balance…it’s just not that easy.

  6. Just read your article! Very well written! And very interesting comments. I decided to comment in the calm world here!
