  1. I love it!

One day you will have some daughter-in-laws who will love you SO much!!

  2. Great tips! I’m glad you’re raising domestically inclined children. Good job Mom!

  3. I love the 5 minute clean up idea. I wonder if I can use that one the very tall, much older child in my house? 😉

Oh yeah! I’m glad I’m not the only one. My 19 mo old boy likes to help unload the dishwasher, which basically means he takes all the dirty silverware and stacks it on the floor. But he’s got the right idea. Unlike my MIL, I intend to teach my boys to cook and clean, so that they at least know how to do their fair share around the house when they are adults. The best way to encourage the next generation of women take on non-traditional roles is to encourage the future men to do the same. I hope my future whatevers-in-law will thank me for it one day.

  5. Awesome tips, Lori! I’ll be sure to bring that into practice once my toddler is old enough to understand. He already understands when I tell him to put things back where he found them – most of the time 🙂

  6. I love this. My little ones help clean up, they get to wipe their table when they are done eating, the help me sweep, love to help vacuum, the even like to help me mop! It’s so funny that you posted this, my husband and I were just talking the other day and I told him that I will not be doing our kids’ laundry forever!
