Yes, I’m the mom who knows all about discipline.
See, I’ve got myself one spirited toddler. I’ve also got myself one grounded school-ager.
Now some of you might be wondering what makes me qualified to write a post on toddler discipline. Well my sweet Mommy Friend, I think we can all agree that B.S. in Child Development that I never did anything with combined with that one summer I spent teaching preschool back in 1998 makes me so totally qualified. I’m glad we can agree.
Click right on over here to see how I roll in the ways of kick-ass parenting and old school discipline.
Note: No toddlers were disciplined in the writing of this post though probably should have been.

Great tips, Lori!
I have a crazy almost 2 year old who just started hitting. Really annoying at daycare when she hits everyone – and she’s suppossed to be the good one 🙂
Oh Lynne, so been there. Hugs Mama, hugs.
Your special note totally made me laugh out loud. And I am just the same. I have one very level headed pre-schooler and one “spirited” toddler. How does this happen? 🙂 I will click on that link of yours for some good advice 🙂
…so basically the same rules that apply to dealing with your spouse apply to toddlers… NOW I get it! *giggles* Love it, Lori! And better yet, love that I live by those rules already! Hugs to you, my dear… 🙂
You are totally qualified! I know I shouldn’t laugh, but I love the picture.
Thanks Evonne. I love the picture too! He’s crying because he has me as a mom no doubt.
I love the tag ~Oh My Toddler (totally caught my attention), sums it up perfectly! I am on my way to ‘click’ here ~I can’t wait to see how you roll!
Thanks MOMmetime! XOXO
