Seriously, my blog is only 2 years old? Why do I feel like I’ve aged 20 years since I started this thing?
I love blogging; don’t misunderstand.
Blogging has become like breathing to me. If your mind can become one perpetual blog post in the making, pausing only hit “publish” once in a while then that’s what I’ve become.
As far as I can tell blogging has made me a better listener (ya know, for fodder) and a more confident parent because of all of you.
I think we mom bloggers are up to some very powerful stuff. We’re stripping away all the BS of perfect parenting and getting down to brass tacks. How lucky we are to live in an age where we can do that! It’s high time we got real with each other and most importantly, with ourselves.
Happy 2nd Birthday to my now toddler blog. I’m proud of all this little blog has become in my life, and hopefully in the lives of my fellow parents.
Everyone is talking about bloggy goals and resolutions for 2012 but mine really remain the same (I’m still not sure if that’s a good thing, a bad thing, a lazy thing or an awesome thing).
All I ever wanted was to be able to share my truth in a way that made others feel understood. I pray every day that I’ve found a way.
I turned my passion into my paycheck in 2011 and the opportunity to be home with my children and watch them grow is a perk for which I’ll never feel truly deserving.
Thank you Mommy Friends for your support and love over the last 2 years. To many, many great adventures to come!
