I’m WITH ya, girl! That’s why we’ve made indeed made it a joint effort in our family tradition. 🙂
In our gifting, we try to abide by the mantra:
Something they want, something they need, something to wear, something to read.
In addition to avoiding a nasty case of the gimmies our philosophy includes that only one gift will be from Santa – and never is it the *best* gift either. Also, everything in their stocking (mostly goodies and treats that we rarely keep around the house normally) is from Santa – but that’s it. I’ll be sharing more on this soon ’round my parts as well.

I think you’re looking at it wrong. YOU are Santa! You are the big guy. All those pictures and letters are for you.it doesn’t last long…treasure it. All too soon some little brat will spill the beans and you’ll have to try to get your older son to not spoil it for your younger son until some other brat ruins it for him. HUGS
I have to tell my kids that Santa just leaves our presents on the doorstep now. They’re terrified of the thought that a strange old man comes into our house while they’re sleeping!
