Reality Bites: The Sippy Cup

Could there BE any more pieces?

Ever look at a product and wish it had more pieces?  Me neither.

There is no denying it, the engineering that goes into the no-spill, no-drip sippy cup is a wonderment.  The sippy cup also happens to be one of the more complicated contraptions used by toddlers.  Of course by the time my toddler was ready to use this no-spill marvel, I was already a certified professional by virtue of the modern baby bottle.

Some sippy cups are comprised of up to 4 pieces per assembly and when Junior is thirsty, you can never seem to assemble fast enough.  Don’t misunderstand, I am a huge advocate of the sippy cup and its ability to defy spillage but I could really do without looking for that little arrow on the valve required to piece it all together…assuming I haven’t already lost it in the abyss of my dishwasher.

  1. Cheap tramadol.

Cheap tramadol. Cheap tramadol without prescription.

  2. “Ever look at a product and wish it had more pieces? Me neither.” Love it. We have so many cups in this house that I have no clue how to assemble. I tell the girls they need to wait until Daddy comes home! Happy to have found your blog!

  3. Soooo true! I am constantly thinking that. I thought it was over after the bottles, but nooo…the sippy cups too!

  4. As a person who deals with a lot of sippy cups I tried to find the ones with the least amount of pieces and the lease amount of spillage. The ones I use still have a bottom, top, and and a one other little piece. I LOATHE unloading the dishwasher and having to put them back together. It really is one of my least favorite things EVER!Jessicahttp://Jessicanfamily.blogspot.com

  5. Ha HA! I so feel your pain! My biggest pet peeve right now are the Dr. Brown’s bottles. For crying out loud! I LOVE that they help keep air out of my little one’s tummy, but, seriously? Washing those tiny crevices is no picnic either! (I found you by accident on younghouselove.com. You commented right before me. =) I will be back. In fact, I will become a “follower” You can never have too many of those right? =)
