Some people spend their whole lives looking for magic while others seem to have no problem finding it. I don’t believe moments of magic are reserved for the lucky ones, but rather those who are open to receiving it.
It was by no accident that our first real family vacation was magical. For the first time probably ever, I was willing to pack up, spend some money, and create memories unburdened by expectation. I just wanted to be somewhere, anywhere surrounded by beauty and the people I love.
