Dove Movement For Self-Esteem

Mommyfriend has partnered with Dove to spread the word about the Dove Movement for Self-Esteem!

Dove is inviting you to share your inspiring message of hope and worth to the next generation of young women by answering this question:

What do you wish you’d known at 13?

For me,

I wish I had known I would someday grow to appreciate the qualities that make me uniquely me.

I wish I had known my voice was meant to be heard.

I wish I had known I was clever.

I wish I had known beauty was individual.

I wish I had known perms were a bad idea.

I wish I had known painful lessons would teach me the most.

I wish I had known my mom was always right.

So Mommyfriends, what do you wish you had known at 13?  Share your inspiring message with today’s young women here!

You are personally invited to join the Dove Movement for Self-Esteem the weekend of October 22nd – 24th!  Click here to find out more about this wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the self-esteem of today’s young women.

I also invite you to show your support online by liking Dove on Facebook and tweeting your support with the #Dovedifference hash tag.

Whether you have daughters, nieces or special young ladies in your life, I encourage you to join me in spreading Dove’s collective message of hope to young women as we strive to help them reach their full potential.

You’re perfect the way you are!5. You already know your parents are the best. You’re right!6. You’ll fall in love just the way you want to…don’t date jerks in the meantime.7. Study hard! You’ll never regret knowlegde. There’s just a few things!

  3. How cool! I love the Dove campaign. Lucky you!

  4. I wish I had known in 10 years no one would remember THAT embarrassing thing, so there was no sense thinking it would ruin my life.
