Daddy Friends

There are some damn fine Daddy Friends out there.

Dads deserve a great deal of appreciation for all they do in support of their families. 

I’ve compiled a list because I’m in the dad-loving mood and there’s no telling how long it will last.  Kidding, kidding, ahem…

    Why We Love Dad

 1.  Dad carries all the heavy crap.

 2.  Dad fixes all the broken crap.

 3.  Dad BBQ’s when it’s a gazillion degrees outside.

 4.  The kids are actually scared of Dad when he gets mad at them.

 5.  Dad is about solutions rather than problems.

 6.  Dad still thinks we Mommy Friends got it when we know we’ve lost it.

 7.  Dad loves getting dirty with the kids.

 8.  Dad protects us and takes the job seriously.

 9.  Dad does the dirty work.

10. Dad helped us create our beautiful children.

Rock star dads deserve the Daddy Friend title for all they do.  Take the time to offer a thank you and a smooch to the special dad in your life, he deserves it.

And no, this entry was not my subtle way of reminding Big Daddy P that Mother’s Day is May 9^th and that I like shiny things…even though it is and I do.
