I recently had me a little huge booby scare (little boobies, big scare) and wound up with double diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds. It was really scary. I prayed a lot. I was impatient. I kept it off my blog.
I am thankful to report that my boobies are healthy and I have taken my first deep breath in nearly 3 weeks.
More than anything, I’m glad I saw my doctor when I noticed a change in my breasts.
I encourage all of my Mommy Friends to do the same.

I follow an amazing blog, Putting on My Big Girl Panties and Kicking Breast Cancer in the Ass by Krista Colvin, a Mommy Friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. Follow her story of grace and survival as she fights the good fight.
Mommy Friends, fight like a girl; early detection is everything.

I am so glad you took matters into your own hands and got checked out. These scares are frightening, we should never let fear stand in our way.
LOL Thank you, I appreciate that. We women gotta take care of ourselves, early detection is everything.
I’m sorry you had to go through that Sunday. I am so glad everything came back normal!
Thank you Mommy & Daddy Friends for your support, it means so much.
I’m glad the girls are healthy!
Excellent reminder and great post! I’m glad you’re alright. And btw, I love the Fight Like a Girl tees. I want one! I buy the Feel Your Boobies ones, tho. 🙂
So thankful you are healthy! Thanks for sharing something so personal with us…tell your boobies good job for being healthy!! 🙂
I can’t believe I just said that 🙂
At the risk of seeming like a total perv, just know that I’m really glad you’re okay, girl.
Wow, glad that you’re okay, but what a scare that must have been for you! A great reminder for all of us mommies to pay attention to our health, too.
How terribly scary. I’m so glad you are okay. {hugs} I will check out the blog you mentioned a little bit later for sure. You must feel so relieved.
Thank you so much for your kind words + support! I’m relieved for you and proud of you for listening to your body. The sooner you detect breast cancer the better- so chicas don’t put off seeing your doctor… promise me that!
So glad you’re ok. Great job getting checked and not putting it off! I have several friends right now fighting breast cancer and have had aunts with it. It’s scary.
Holy crimany! I am SO glad you’re okay. I’m sorry you had to go through that. I’m sure it was just terrifying! xoxo
I’m SO glad you’re okay – how scary for you!! Good for you for getting it checked.
I had a scare 5 years ago. I also had to put up with my doctor’s office being idiots. Luckily I bypassed them and went straight to my “lady doctor” and was able to get what we needed right away. And like you, I was fine.Glad that everything went well for you.
So glad that you are well and that you paid attention to your body.
How scary! I am so glad that everything is okay. It is good that you saw your doctor immediately.
OMG Lori I am sorry you had to go through this. I am always in fear this will happen to me. Thank god you are ok!! I will go over and check out Krista, how sad!
I went through my own scare 3 months ago. I blogged about it at the time because I was so nervous I couldn’t keep it to myself. Thankfully everything came back normal and I was told to cut out my caffeine intake.
I’m happy to hear you too were proactive in getting checked out!
