Fight Like A Girl

I recently had me a little huge booby scare (little boobies, big scare) and wound up with double diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds.  It was really scary.  I prayed a lot.  I was impatient.  I kept it off my blog.

I am thankful to report that my boobies are healthy and I have taken my first deep breath in nearly 3 weeks.

More than anything, I’m glad I saw my doctor when I noticed a change in my breasts.

I encourage all of my Mommy Friends to do the same.

I follow an amazing blog, Putting on My Big Girl Panties and Kicking Breast Cancer in the Ass by Krista Colvin, a Mommy Friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.  Follow her story of grace and survival as she fights the good fight.

Mommy Friends, fight like a girl; early detection is everything.

I am so glad you took matters into your own hands and got checked out.  These scares are frightening, we should never let fear stand in our way.

I had a scare 5 years ago. I also had to put up with my doctor’s office being idiots. Luckily I bypassed them and went straight to my “lady doctor” and was able to get what we needed right away. And like you, I was fine.Glad that everything went well for you.

I went through my own scare 3 months ago. I blogged about it at the time because I was so nervous I couldn’t keep it to myself. Thankfully everything came back normal and I was told to cut out my caffeine intake.

I’m happy to hear you too were proactive in getting checked out!
